If I described how well you performed in selling my mothers house, no one would believe it. However, since it is all true, I'll list some of the highlights of the sales process.

As executor of my mother's estate, I found myself in the difficult position of having to sell her house in Little Neck, NY, while I lived in Maryland. I found you on the Internet. The morning after I called you, I received an overnight package in which you gave me a complete picture of the services you would provide in selling the house, in addition to all the comps in the area.

I thought this instant service was done to impress me, and would last only until I hired you to sell the house. In fact, it lasted through the day of the closing. You consistently provided me with almost immediate answers to my questions; in addition you provided in depth, fully researched information; and perhaps most importantly, you provided really valuable and meaningful advice.

In retrospect, the advice you provided, such as the price to ask for the house, when to put it on market, what improvements to make, which offer to accept, etc. were the most important assets you provided me with. You and your team consistently kept me so well informed, that the fact that we met in person only one time, and that I lived over 200 miles away, almost did not matter.

You also kept every promise you made to me on the day I hired you. In fact, you did even more. I needed many things done to the house, such as selling the contents, having things that I could not sell hauled away, etc. If your team could not handle these things, you consistently referred me to the best people to perform these services.

I could list many specific instances of when folks performed above and beyond the call of duty, but I will illustrate them by listing only the last service you provided:

On the day of the closing, I needed to have my mother's car removed from the driveway of the house, and driven to the person who would be buying it. To make matters a little complicated, the car had a dead battery. I told this to your husband, Gary. Gary instantly said that he would do it, and would find some means of starting the car, such as jump-starting it from his own car. He never once said that he was doing me a favor by doing this; on the contrary, he indicated that this was part of his job, since he was a member of your team.

Selling my mother's house, the house I grew up in, was an extremely emotional matter for me. The sensitivity you provided at such a difficult juncture in my life is also tremendously appreciated. You earned every accolade I have listed. I give you the highest possible recommendation I can to anyone hiring a realtor to sell their house."
